This is Keeley. She is a shy young woman who cultivates a taste for life's small pleasures: the smell and feel of an old book, eating nutella out of the jar with a spoon, the capital letter L in handwriting, the smell of freshly printed ink, and drawing on steamed windows. She likes watching old movies and drinking peppermint tea.

Keeley dislikes accidently eating hair, finding that an apple is bruised, the way ketchup seeps through paper plates, and the feeling of nail polish on her finger nails. She hates writing in hardcover journals and the four words: my pretty little snowflake
